PERAN GURU DALAM SEKOLAH MENANAMKAN SIKAP DEMOKRATIS TERHADAP SISWA KELAS VIII Di SMP NEGERI 1 PARANGINAN KECAMATAN PARANGINAN KABUPATEN HUMBANG HASUNDUTAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2019/2020

Abstract

Educators in Indonesia are more comfortable in their establishment and are anti-change, meaning that there are more working teachers than teaching teachers, because great teachers are teachers who can demonstrate lessons and good teachers are teachers who can inspire their students. Explaining the form of a democratic society will grow strong if the culture and values ​​of democracy grow among the people. Based on the research of SMP Negeri 1 Paranginan, it was found that, in the implementation of the teaching and learning process, teachers always use conventional methods such as lectures and questions and answers. Here the teacher is more active in learning and is considered one of the sources for students, as a result it can produce students who are passive, bored and monotonous so that students' lack of creativity in learning this PKN subject. Departing from this background, the author tries to offer a solution in order to improve and maintain this nation, namely that every PKN subject learning a teacher should approach democratic values.
