PENGARUH BUDAYA LITERASI DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER SISWA SMP NEGERI 2 SIBORONGBORONG KECAMATAN SIBORONGBORONG KABUPATEN TAPANULI UTARA TAHUN AJARAN 2022/2023

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of literacy culture in shaping the character of students at SMP Negeri 2 Siborongborong, North Tapanuli Regency. Which in general includes three main activities, namely: knowing students' reading level, knowing whether there is an influence of literacy in shaping students' character, and knowing what characters are formed in the literacy program. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. The results of this research show that in general literacy can shape the character of students at SMP Negeri 2 Siborongborong, where literacy can shape character, religiousness, a love of reading, discipline, respecting friends' opinions, responsibility, and being more active at school.
